Live-Work-Dwell
Creating liveable, comfortable spaces for work and daily life in an increasingly remote world
This live-work project addresses the need for home workspaces amid the rise of remote work. It focuses on turning inward and cultivating something precious while commenting on a society inclined toward rapid growth and disregard for the environment. Heavy industrial pollution is creating a growing air quality problem in Denver. Industrial pollutants and toxins also affect artistic materials.
The concept aims to create a shielded space of cultivation for makers whose products may benefit people and the environment. The space favors two makers (a seed banker and a pigment maker) whose work is oriented toward the slow cultivation of plants and responds to multiple environmental issues.
